I prefer simple designs that do not depend only on heavy filters in the pictures. of course shipping delays can happen, but good communication reduces stress. a product that still looks good after a few months is more impressive than something only good on arrival. some care only about style, others focus on comfort and durability. i also think about how easy it is to track a parcel once it ships.
if anyone is interested in real user experiences, i sometimes write short notes about the shops i test.

if a deal looks too good to be true, it usually has some kind of catch. over the last months i noticed that some of my favorite items are not the most expensive ones. that is why i sometimes leave comments myself when i test a new shop or product. when every picture has different colors or extreme filters, it is usually a bad sign. many times i avoided a bad purchase just by reading a few careful comments. if they ignore basic questions or reply with copy pasted text, i become suspicious. i like when a shop clearly shows pd, lens height and bridge width in millimeters. online shops that show detailed measurements and care instructions usually get my attention.
just sharing my personal feedback.
